Xmas day, and the best gift friends could give

Xmas day lunch at our friends house. Our best friends. Friends that, on this journey, we couldn’t have coped/managed.

One of their gifts to us was cooking Xmas day lunch for our family, at their house. We were throughly spoilt. The ‘simple’ gift of food / good company / games / entertainment made Xmas day feel very special, a sense of ‘normal’ through all of this.

A very special day indeed.
